Gammon Hock 350 - 500g
Gammon hock , cut from the bottom of the hind leg of the pig and cured, they frequently salted before being cooked slowly so that the meat is soft and delicious . A gammon hock can be used in lots of meals from soups to sandwiches and even salads. And is a great low cost option.
Suitable for home freezing. Ideally freeze as soon as possible after purchase but always by the ‘use by’ date shown. Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 24 hours in a refrigerator. Once defrosted use on the same day and do not refreeze. Follow the preparation guidelines above. Keep refrigerated. Once opened, consume within 24 hours and by 'use by' date shown.
