Lamb shanks are a luscious and are perfect for slow cooking. They are renowned for their succulent texture and deep taste.
Suitable for home freezing. Ideally freeze as soon as possible after purchase but always by 'use by' date shown. Not suitable for cooking from frozen. Follow the preparation guidelines above. Once defrosted use on the same day and do not refreeze. Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 12 hours in the fridge. Keep refrigerated.

Oven 180°C/Fan 160°C/Gas 4 2hrs 15mins Remove all the packaging and place the shanks into a casserole dish along with your choice of stock. Cover and place dish in centre of pre-heated oven for 2 hours 15 minutes until tender and falling off the bone.
Instructions: Not suitable for microwave cooking.
